What are the current and future Genshin Impact banners?

Curious about what Genshin Impact’s next banner will be? The Genshin Impact banner follows a fairly regular schedule. Each update arrives with a new banner which lasts about three weeks, and upon expiry, it is followed by a second banner which also lasts roughly three weeks, at which point it’s renewal time once again.

This means that even though we hear rumors of new Genshin Impact characters arriving in an upcoming update, we won’t know their exact release date until we know which banner they will be a part of, and whether it will be the first or second banner. update. Sometimes, banners don’t follow this schedule – notably, update 1.3 has three biweekly banners, so Hu Tao’s banner doesn’t cross over with Chinese New Year.

Typically, each limited character banner – or Event Wish – contains a five-star character, and three four-star characters. There is also a Weapons banner – Epitome Prayer – which runs alongside each character’s banner, and displays a different weapon each time. Here’s everything you need to know about the current and upcoming Genshin Impact banners.
