Hot on the heels Lantern Rite Festival, Genshin Dampak Impact brings us one more new patch with another featured event: Three Realms Gate Offer. This event will last until March 30, and this time players will be sent into the depths of Enkanomiya to investigate the creeping corruption affecting the land. Once you arrive, you’ll notice that this event-specific version of Enkanomiya is a little different from what you’re used to, so expect danger and surprise at every turn.
For those looking to jump right into the Three Realms Gateway Offering event, there may be some bad news. This event has several prerequisites, including being at least Adventure Rank 30 and after it’s done Chapter II: Chapter II of Archon Inazuma’s Quest. You also have to complete Secret of Erebos World Quest Series, which unlocks several new areas directly related to the event. Luckily, this guide will teach you the ins and outs of The Secret of Erebos so you can dive into the darkness of Enkanomiya as soon as possible.
How to Clear the Three Great Martial Trials
Secrets of Erebos is a series of World Quests centered around you completing Three Great Martial Trials. To start this process, you must talk to eboshi, one of the many Shades of Tokoyo that you can find wandering around Enkanomiya during Evernight. Eboshi lives in the northwestern part of The Serpent’s Heart, and talking to him will unlock three new areas on the outskirts of Enkanomiya: Yachimatahiko locus, Yachimatahime locusand Kunado Locus.
To reach the Yachimatahiko Trial, you must go to Emanant Skylight at The Narrows. There will be a pond there with Ghostfish guarded by several Bathysmal Vishaps. Sliding into Ghostfish will cause them to take you to a portal, which will take you to the Yachimatahiko Locus.
In this location, you will talk to a shadow named Uda to start your experiment. Trials require you to explore a small island and collect four”Fire from the High Gate.” These flames are little blue blobs that are pretty easy to find, but you’ll have to mess around with a few Day-Night Mechanism to access everything. Once you’ve collected all four, talk to Uda again to complete your first try.
The Yachimatahime Trial has a similar structure to the first. Go to Emanant Skylight at the Temple of Evernight, take the Ghostfish elevator to the portal, and then you’ll be at the Yachimatahime Locus. A shadow named Eki will take on the same role as Uda, tasking you with finding the four “High Gate Flames” once again.
Collecting these four fires doesn’t require a Day-Night puzzle, but they are in a more difficult location than before. Interact with lookout pool in front of the area will give you a glimpse of the location of the four fires. Use this snippet to collect the location of the fire, then talk to Eki one more time to complete the second try.
Like the other two trials, you must first travel to Emanant Skylight in Snake’s Heart and climb into the portal with the help of Ghostfish. This will take you to the Kunado Locus, where you will talk to the shadow Daimon to start the final trial.
You’ll need to unleash four more “Flames of the High Gate,” but this time the trials focus more on combat. Once you light the four torches next to the statue with Pyro, the fight will start immediately against some scary enemies. Rifthounds, Abyss Mage, Bathysmal Vishaps, and even the Abyss Herald will all appear, so make sure you have a strong team ready to take them down. When all enemies are defeated, climb the four statues to release their fire and talk to Daimon to complete the experiment.
How to Unlock the Three Realms Gate Offer Event
With all three martial arts trials complete, you can now talk to Eboshi once again to learn some bits of Enkanomiya’s knowledge and complete the Secret of Erebos. After this, the Three Realms Gate Offering Event will be unlocked automatically, assuming you have also met the other requirements. You can access events via the Events Tab, and it will ask you to search Sangonomiya Kokomi in Watatsumi Island to start the storyline of the event.
The Gate of the Three Realms Event offers several new mechanics and storylines as you try to dispel the darkness of Enkanomiya while collecting treasure and battling all kinds of darkness-filled foes. The event’s puzzles and challenges can be tricky, but a lot of them will take place in the three locations you just unlocked and visited during the Three Great Martial Trials. This means you won’t be completely blind, which should make your Enkanomiya exploits a bit easier.
