Formation Estate is one of the many one-time domains found around Genshin Impact, located in the Jakotsu Mine. It tells the story of an astute lieutenant in the history of Inazuma, and the clash between the Island god Watatsumi Orobashi and the Raiden Shogun.
Of course, for players wanting to learn more about Watatsumi Island’s role in the story, as well as Inazuma’s overall knowledge, Formation Estate is a domain to behold.
How to Unlock Estate Formation

The first step to opening Formation Estate in Genshin Dampak Impact was to complete the first three parts of the Orobashi Inheritance World Quest. The first part of this quest chain can be taken from Kaji, an NPC located on the east side of Fujitou Fortress, and is centered around collecting the two missing pieces and repairing the ward.
To do this, the player must redirect the three pillars surrounding the blue dome northeast of Kaji, defeat a samurai, and retrieve the Stone Pillar Pearl and Stone Pillar Repellent Stone.
After repairing the ward, fans must return to Kaji to receive Orobashi’s Legacy Part 2. This time, Genshin Dampak Impact players will find a ward in Serpent’s Head, and they will need to move a few more pillars to access the area surrounded by the dome.
Granted, there are a few pieces missing to track within this second vault, and fans will be ready for the third part of the World Quest once those parts are fitted into the ward.
In regards to Orobashi’s Legacy Part 3, it plays very much like the previous two parts, with players disabling vaults and repairing wards. The main difference here is that this particular ward is located in the Jakotsu Mine, though that doesn’t have much impact on how the quest should ultimately be approached.
After this third ward is repaired, the rain in the Formation Estate area will disappear, and players can now unlock this new lock. Genshin Dampak Impact domain.

The proper way to unlock Formation Estate is to light the four braziers surrounding the cube, starting with the one closest to the cube and working clockwise. While players should be fairly familiar with this process by the time they reach this brazier, it might be worth emphasizing that they can be ignited with Pyro attacks at Genshin Dampak Impact.
Once all four lanterns are lit, fans only need to interact with the cube to finally gain access to the Estate Formation.

The Formation Estate houses various units of samurai and treasure hunters. Notably, this domain features Hydro and Pyro Potioneers, as well as Electro and Pyro Kairagi. Therefore, players are advised to bring Pyro, Cryo, Electro, or Anemo units.
Genshin Dampak Impact players should also be warned that Pyro or Electro characters will be less effective against at least one Kairagi unit found in the domain, so they must bring other elements with them if they carry one of these.
Genshin Dampak Impact now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version in development.
